Eilu v’eilu divrei elokhim chayim
‘These and these are the words of the living G-d…’
As this verse suggests, Eilu v’Eilu embodies multiple and conflicting views on a range of Jewish-related subjects. The journal began as a Cambridge initiative, and with the support of the UJS Initiative Fund has become and extraordinary national project. It aims to stimulate healthy and respectful debate among British students over a variety of questions of Jewish interest. It was launched at the inaugural UJS Student Awards and copies have been sent to every Hillel in the UK, as well as to various US and Israeli campuses.
